Special Education

gsfm16The effective inclusion of students with diverse learning needs, including those with disability, in mainstream classrooms is a priority.

Inclusive education focuses on the reduction of barriers to learning and participation for all students, and includes placing students in the most appropriate setting for the time needed to achieve targeted learning outcomes.

At Good Samaritan, effective inclusion for students with disability, focuses on addressing individual needs.  This may include for some students alternative placement for specified time periods in a specialised classroom to access some or all of their learning.
