Principal's Message

Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School commenced in 2012 following the amalgamation of St John Vianney’s Primary and St Francis Xavier’s Primary schools on the existing St John Vianney’s school site.

At Good Samaritan School we believe the parents to be the primary educators of their child and as such the school does not replace the home but takes a complementary role to create the best possible opportunities for all children. We are committed to assisting the development of a child in all facets of learning and life. In particular, we aim to foster the development of faith within each child.
As a community, we are committed to building a safe, non-threatening environment in which the children will feel confident and happy to learn. The children of Good Samaritan will be encouraged to strive for excellence in all areas of school life.

We hope that parents will find our school to be a place which challenges their child to achieve to the best of his or her ability through an education that recognizes the uniqueness of the individual and the need to respect the dignity of every person in an inclusive and cooperative learning environment.

Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School will continue to build upon the excellent academic results of the two amalgamating schools with a new and dynamic curriculum offering the latest pedagogy for quality learning and teaching and interactive technology for learning.

Positive and respectful relationships will continue to be fostered between parishioners, parents, teachers, students and the wider community.

Let us celebrate the journey together.
